At Super Garage Door Service, we stand behind the work we do. Every garage door repair and every new installation we complete is backed by a 5-year warranty that covers both parts and labour. If something we repaired or installed fails under normal use within that period, we will put it right at no charge to you.
What the Warranty Covers
- Parts and labour, both included. You are not charged for the replacement part or for the work to install it.
- Repairs. Any component we repaired or replaced, such as springs, cables, rollers, drums, hinges, openers, and the parts inside them, is covered for 5 years from the date of service.
- Installations. New garage doors and openers we supply and install are covered for 5 years on the parts we provide and the labour to fit them.
- Workmanship. If a problem arises because of how the work was carried out, we will return and correct it.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty applies to normal residential use. It does not cover:
- Vehicle impact. Damage caused by driving into or striking the door with a vehicle is not covered. This is the most common cause of damage we see that falls outside the warranty.
- Accidental or deliberate damage, vandalism, or forced entry.
- Misuse, neglect, or failure to carry out basic upkeep such as keeping the tracks clear and the door free of obstructions.
- Adjustments, modifications, or repairs carried out by anyone other than Super Garage Door Service.
- Damage from fire, flooding, storms, power surges, or other events beyond normal use.
- Normal cosmetic wear such as fading or minor surface marks that do not affect how the door works.
- Existing parts on the door that we did not repair or replace.
How to Make a Claim
If you have an issue with work we carried out, call us at (647) 800-8833. Have your original invoice or the approximate date of service handy so we can confirm the work and the warranty period. We will arrange a visit and, where the issue is covered, repair or replace the part at no cost to you.
Good to Know
- The warranty applies to the customer and the address where the work was carried out.
- Keep your invoice as your proof of service and warranty start date.
- This warranty is offered in addition to any rights you may have under applicable Ontario and Canadian consumer protection law, and does not take those rights away.
